Life goes on...but..

My first attempt at Haiku...A Japanese form of poetry. Although I am nowhere close to the original style (3 0r less lines and 17 syllables) and essence (supposed to be based on natural imagery) of this verse, this is my take as per the recent emotions crowding my psyche. Coming to the end of an unforgettable 5 years as a freewheeling, happy-go-lucky college student to the white collared, methodical office going professional: the transition will not come easy to me. I am certainly not ready for the shift, but then;I have to imbibe it, have to absorb it, have to change it, for once, but not for all....
Ready for nothing,
Awake for everything,
Waiting to be changed...
