BD Centenary: The youngest of them all!

Now that we have talked about Black Dog Deluxe (12 Y.O.) and Black Dog Reserve (18 Y.O) here is another fine variant, which although is the youngest of them all, but is equally luxurious! The Black Dog Centenary variant is a rich and rare blended premium whisky with impeccable finishing. It is blended to perfection with a multitude of malt spirits chosen from the various regions of Scotland. It is amber with golden highlights and can be easily comparable to liquid gold. The aroma resembles that of matured wood, toasted malt, mild honey sweetness, delicate butterscotch bordering on cream, with floral nuances that emerges at the end. As it touches the tip of your tongue and roll it on your palate, you feel its robust body, pronounced rich malt and oak and sherry sweetness spreads warmly in your mouth like silent sea waves. The finish is balanced, long, intense and bright. Not just that, it is bottled in one the most beautiful bottles of scotch whisky in India! As we speak it has completed 130 years of its dominance as the finest scotch ever made in India. It has been helping us unwind and relax ever since, and just one sip of the magical drink is enough for it. Personally speaking as I have also mentioned before that it is one of my favourite variants among all the four, and I savour each and every sip of it.
It should surprise one that it has been awarded with two stars by the International Taste and Quality Institute, a recognition worthy of the finesse and the class of Black Dog! In the posts to come we will talk about the Black Dog Quintessence and some of my other memoirs, of which Black Dog forms an essential part.
